Inciting Violence and Arizona Shootings

Following the grand old internet tradition, a shorter Sarah Palin and Sharron Angle:

Politely criticizing me for inciting violence against others is the real incitement of violence.

Or:
Democrats should cease insisting I ritually ingest the blood of Christian children for my unholy ends. It's really Jesus' blood.

Or:

Don't point fingers. Use second amendment pointing instead.

Seriously, by their own standard, Palin and Angle have just incited violence against everyone who criticized them. No one could, therefore, criticize anyone for inciting violence without also inciting violence.

The actual standard is, of course, that nothing Republicans say incites violence, and everything Democrats say incites violence. That's why Republicans (Right-wingers, anyway) so often have to act on their own to defend themselves.
